| Mark, she really is a very nice looking boat, a steel at $3500. I hope you find a buyer quickly, I know how much you want to move up to a larger boat.
I have a couple of questions; Did you add the boom Vang or did it come with when you purchased? Second, how long is trailer tongue extension? Lastly, where is the attachment point for the back end of the tongue extension? I couldn't make it out from the angle the picture was taken at. |

| You guys are good sports. Best of luck selling her. An item of note, a month ago, there were no CM's for sale anywhere on CraigsList, or very few. Today, there are dozens of CM's of every size up to 30's and at pretty good prices some of them. | |

| Spring is sprung, the sails are raised.
I know that's not quite a direct quote of the poem my mother used to say about spring time, but under the circumstances I think it works. |

| It's early moring here. Been busy past 2 days. forecast heavy raining here today--but not yet...but its dark out In between rain drops, I'll try to measure tongue extension
Extension: Toungue welded and bolted onto end of extention Trailer ball screwed into the top of extention at some point back from tongue. Extention is offset a bit and a large bolt runs horizontally through the side of it into the trailer side. Pretty clever, pretty simple, works well. Will get pics and post later. Boom vang was on boat when I purchased. What would you need to know about it, specifically?

| Hi Mark,
I know what you mean about working between raindrops. It's been off and on thunderstorms here for the last three days, going on six.
Extension: I've been planning to add one to the Munchkin's trailer, I just haven't gotten to the extension yet as I've been busy working on Glenda, getting her ready for a road trip.
After watching the video that Gary posted, sailing 101, I've been thinking of adding a boom vang. Obviously one end is attached at the base of the mast. What I need to know is how far out on the boom is the bail mounted. |

| Penny, Below is a pic of my boom vang. without being at the boat, no way to know how far back on the boom, probably 18" - 20" - 24" no more. Take a look at this telling tale pic of my tongue extention. the rusted bolt is pointing at the part on the frame where it goes down through the frame and through the extention piece below it. To the left is where the screwed in ball is placed. The tongue is 9'3" with the ball about 5' back from the tip of the tongue. It's slightly offset when mounted but effective. I have a mounted winch just aft of the tongue for stepping, de-stepping the mast. Not shown in this pic but in an earlier one. hope this helps.
