Open invite and a call out

I should be settled on Myott by this weekend. It would be an extra thrill to take anyone who's followed my acquisition ordeal on a sail and to host them for a weekend. Ev, Gary, Penny?

Speaking of you three...

We've seen my avatar and other photos of me sailing.

And we've seen a pic of Gary next to one of his large acquisitions. We've also seen him in recent video (Gary, ever heard of a nose trimmer?) Kidding!

We only know that Ev looks like a skeleton pirate characature.

Penny is a blue Smurf?

But, how about your real pics.

I picture Ev (being from, I believe Wisconsin) to be short, heavy, bald, black, with corn rows. Close? :-)

Penny, I picture as a sailor mom with 8 kids and soon to be 2 boats.

How 'bout sharin' a real photo? Or not.

I'd like to see to whom it is that I'm throwing out invites.

Funny you should mention it Mark. I was going to mention on the Avatar thread that I would post one of me but the skull pic looks better.

Seriously I would be happy to put up some pics but am unable to. How I managed to when the site started and now can't, I have no idea. I would blame the Motorola Xoom that I am using but that's what I was using then too. I would love to post photos of our new boat, the boat hauler we just bought, us sailing.

Maybe tonight I will try to post from Aprils laptop. But all my recent pics are on this Xoom as I take them w/ it. Will have to check my Photobucket for an old one of me sailing. Have tried to copy from there w/ this Xoom and had no luck either.

Hey it worked off of Photobucket from my Xoom. That is me heading out to fish the fjords of Norway a few years ago.

Technically at work now so will have to find a face shot later.

In that picture it could have gone either way.

I'm still looking for pictures of me. Unfortunately my laptop was a victim of a VISTA automatic upgrade and had to be wiped and reloaded. My desktop crashed and I haven't taken the time to rebuild it as yet, too busy with boats and trucks. As of right now the only picture of me is from a distance, at the tiller of the Munchkin. My oldest daughter was here about a year ago and we took her sailing. She took a bunch of pictures, but it must have broken her camera because she's never sent me any copies.



Dark blue turtleneck and a hat, from a distance with a poor quality phone camera doesn't lend itself to much detail.

Long day, yesterday. These old bones are hurtin' this a.m.
Hopefully, all will go as planned today at the silly-endeavor Credit union boat signing.
Then I must contend with the seller's relentess need to move my boat to an already MT Nest-occupid slip. Have two serous inquiries coming from out of town to see the boat tomorrow and Sat.

OK found this one on my Xoom and uploaded to Photobucket so I can post it here. Not a close up but it's my ugly mug by the van and it's current. The boat is the Oday 19 that we almost bought. Hey Gary tell your wife that at least she was cleaning boats you actually own. April spent more than 8 hours on this one. I spent even longer retrofitting a rudder and rigging it. Then we returned it.

If we make it out sailing this weekend I will have April get a pic of me that is better.
