You have a snow problem. That should go away once the sun wonders back overhead again.

That must be a blast to sail on. The cabin looks like you could get lost in there. Echoes a problem? Lol

That is pretty sweet.

As the first person to find the new forum, you should win something. I have two house cats, and sharing has never been an issue with me, you want the one with a tail, ir the tail-less one? Lol

Thanks for posting. Making a forum for a sailboat line out of business for decades is about like designing new flatware for the Titanac. However, I do think people will use it to a degree, but this will never be mattahan at rush hour.

That photo is a couple of years old but it does happen every year and yes, it is a problem. This year even more so for poor Gone is left to her own devices while we are enjoying the weather in Key Largo. She was supposed to make the trip w/ us but logistically it turned into a nightmare. I bid her a sad farewell, see you in June.

It bothers me as I have always been there to clear each new snowfall. Not only did this keep the extra weight off but meant less moisture seeping in to freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw. I am hoping one of my sons still living there will keep some of it cleared. Even w/ constant diligence on my part there have been times she had more ice than I cared to have in her. I will see if I can access any ice photos and post them.

As for sailing her, we have yet to do that. This summer past was the scheduled year to splash but my job just didn't allow it. I have since changed jobs and will now have the time this coming summer to not only splash her but possibly sail her from Milwaukee to Florida via the east coast. No matter how we get her down here we will likely be living aboard next vinter.

Which brings me to your comment about the cabin. Yes it is spacious, I think. I am 6'3" and can stand anywhere in the saloon. The setees are both at least 6' and the rear port quarter berth is, I believe, almost
7. The cockpit is very spacious also and will be awesome for sundowners w/ friends. For all the crap the nay-sayers throw down about these boats I don't think you can beat them overall. I will sit down and write my own brochure some time and post it here.

Ahhh as for the cat prize... thanks... no. As our pets have died off over the past couple of years we have not replaced them. For many years we have been planing to be more mobile and live mostly on our boat. Sept 2012 is our sail away date. We had a weak moment two years ago and brought home a Chocolate Lab pup. He turned into possibly the coolest dog we ever had. We gave Mojo to a retired batchlor two months ago. We knew it would be difficult to travel w/ him. It ripped our hearts out. Never again.

Well it's time for a morning walk through the mangroves to see the sunrise over the ocean. Fair winds, Ev.
