This was taken on a shake down maiden voyage in our Mac 25 last fall.

Finally got time to check this out and all I can say is WOW!! cheers
That is cool footage Gary. Did you know the guy or was it just a random buzz, right place/right time deal? Would be awesome if he had a helmet cam of you sailing at the same time.
Looked like a great evening to be out there and the full moon was a nice touch. Cool

It was the first time out on this sailboat, having just purchased it. . We were using the kicker, making lists of things that needed repaired, adjusted, missing and such. Three of these birds showed up, and this guy circled us at just the right time.

Cool video, I had a similar situation on Chickamauga Lake in 2001. I had no video recorder at that time, too bad. It was a homemade two person amphibian plane. My son and I were sailing near the dam when we spotted the plane coming from the southwest, circled us a couple times then to our surprise, landed or what ever they call it, (watered the plane) less than thirty feet from us. Then made his way to a nearby dock at this super nice mansion. Got out and went in for a couple hours then came back out and then left, flying right past us again. My son thought it was so cool, he talked about it for days.

I had not seen that video in some time. I just did some tweaks to the video to make it look better.
