| Cost $40 at Home Depot. 8' wide, so it fits perfect. Has heat blocking reflective material inside. Makes it a lot cooler inside. On and off, in just seconds. Folds down to almost nothing, so it is easy to store. Also great for privacy as people walking up and down the docks cannot see inside our cockpit. Would make difficult to sail, no clear windshield. Dock use only.

| Looks nice and more importantly it works. I am thinking my sailboat needs some shade too. How big is it when folder up? | |

| About 4' tall and 5" around at the widest point. Comes with a matching storage case. Would tuck in several places so it would be out of the way when not in use. | |

| You think its just good for docking or could you cleverly place it in such a manor that you could sail with it too? | |

| If it was raised off the cabin so you could see under it, I guess you could. I have it here at a good tilt to give privacy and funnel the breeze inside. | |

| Purchased two more of them. Close by, in a clearance area, I spotted a very high dollar saw, sitting on the floor, under other things, kinda hidden from view. I bend down to look for a price, and it had a return receipt on it for $258 Thinking this to be rather odd to have a $600 saw, plus stand and blade together as one unit for $258, I asked an employee, what gives??? An old man had returned the saw, opened and used, and the store manager only gave him $258 as a refund. Several things were missing, like the blade guard & dust bag. I asked the employee, if that was the sale price, he scratched his head, and said, I guess so. Between the sale isle, and the cash register, several managers got involved, and I was sure someone would botch the deal. Nope, at the register, it went through, and I loaded up my new used saw. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=100618247&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&ci_sku=100618247&ci_kw=%7bkeyword%7d&kwd=%7bkeyword%7d&cm_mmc=shopping%2d%5f%2dgoogleads%2d%5f%2dpla%2d%5f%2d100618247&ci_gpa=pla Dewalt Saw | |

| That is a sweet score on the saw Gary!!
I like the shade too. Looks like it will fold away easily when its time to sail. Would also be nice for keeping the rain out. | |
