Well we shall see how the ol Clipper fares through a tropical storm. Strapped on the trailer, battened down, already been hit by limbs from surrounding trees. Wind building. We are staying on board for it. April is watching Deadliest Catch on her phone and I'm about to have a beer.

Seaweed is lying to three anchors, 22# Danforth knock-off, 44# Bruce, 45# CQR.

(I see the tattle tale feature is enabled which documents and publishes when a post is edited. Leaves everyone wondering what happened. Well I edited to say we were staying on board, then again to add this. Dumb feature IMO. Rolling Eyes )

Wow, good luck out there.

Shot a pic if you can otherwise I wish you the best and hope Seaweed holds up to the storm for us all.

Isaac is long gone. Still a moderate wind, 21mph. Nothing more than a few tree limbs hit the CM. And I suspect a holed scupper hose as the bilge filled twice and we had to pump. Will investigate today.

Friend staying on his boat close to where Seaweed is anchored reported that she rode it out well. Will go out later and retrieve the storm anchor.

Will post a couple pics later when I have wifi.

(Edit to say Isaac is gone from here but still going and I wish everyone in the path all the best.)

Here arrr a few pics. Not much damage for a tropical storm and we aren't complaining but doesn't make for very exciting pics and stories. I will say the limbs sounded much bigger when they hit.

The limb on the ground first hit the foredeck and eventually blew overboard.

Next one hit the cabin roof:

Here you can also see the new chain plates. Not completely installed as storm prep halted that project.

I want to turn off the tattle tale edit remarks, but I do not know how.
