My  windows on the 21 were leaking so I ordered the gray vinyl beading (the part that goes around the plexi- glass and into the aluminum track).  As it only comes in a 100' roll and using less than twenty feet for both windows I have enough for four more sets if anyone would to have some.

You may also be able to get it locally. The part# is D752C from CRLawrence.com.

I also replaced the beading due to a leak but, the leak continues to this day!!  I even applied silicone to the inside and outside of the window to no avail. It's a pain in the neck and I can't believe I still can't locate the source of the leak.

There are a couple different places your windows can leak from.

It could be the seal between the window and frame, but most likely it is the seal between the frame and hull. The grey strip around the inside of the window is more of a beauty ring and will do nothing to stop leaks.

Remove the screws and pull the retaining ring from the inside of the window. From there you will see how to remove the window completely from the boat.

Once removed, clean off ALL the old caulking.

Go buy some butyl tape caulking at the marine store and use that to re-caulk your windows.
Some folks prefer 5200 or 4200 but that will make servicing them more difficult in the future.

Good luck fellas.

I could see where the beading had deteriorated as was leaking from.  The RV store had a better price on the butyl tape at @ $6.95 a roll.
Does anyone have a source for the flat grey strip that goes between the window Frames?

First window is done.  Tested with the pressure washer.  Dry!  Yea.  I will take pictures of the process for the next window.
