| So in the process of researching the purchase of my Harstad 31, I've discovered this option and I've wondered if anyone has ever rigged a staysail on their ketch rig? | |

| My lake is about 30 feet wide at its widest point. lol Nebraska is not much for lakes. | |

You need to rig a "self tacking" jib, to make life easier. I currently sail on the San Joaquin river in California, and where I sail is fairly wide, but there are parts that are maybe 100' wide and you can tack 70 times to go a mile. | |
