| Tonight we go out to the boat, on a locked gated community to find my boat cabin hatch slid open. Inside is a little vandalism, but we see nothing stolen (yet) Dumb Punks. If I would catch them in my boat, or car, or house, or business, I know I would be spending some time in jail. When Wallace sold me the boat, the cabin did not lock. Never got around to installing a proper lock. I will work on that this weekend. I called the marina owner John and told him what had happened, and he tells me he will work harder at keeping the gate locked. Mine is the first boat on the docks the punks come to that are out messing around at the lakes at night. ERRRRR

| I am hands off of other peoples stuff. First and foremost. What is mine is mine, and what belongs to others, belongs to others. I often times long for something, but I do not long for something that cannot be mine, and I expect that from others. Several things were broken in my boat. Possibly things are missing. I did not do an inventory. Also, thieves do not fill their shopping basket, on the first go around. They come back, and come back again. | |

| I feel your pain Gary.
Have had on different occassions in two different states, my favorite canoe stolen, tri-pod deer stand, thousands of dollars in antiques, computer full of CAD software, air compressor, rake and corner, "J" and starter channel, tools, even my wife's landscaping rocks. The list goes on.
Hell they took a 3/16" wall 1 1/2"x3"x20' pre-primed piece of steel I bought to use for a tounge on my Boy Scout Tipi trailer.
I'm w/ Mark. Catch them and turn them into sailing kids instead of punks. They already like messing about in boats and they must not be that bad yet or they would be stealing cars or dingy motors. Seriously. If you truly want to help kids, these are the kids to help. Open arms can do more than better locks on taller gates.

| They can have that boat now. Lol. I have the ketch! Lets say you put on dress shoes, and you walk outside to learn all the neighbors ride horses in your yard. & the stuff on your feet is not shinola. Do you chase off the horses, do you walk back inside to never come out again, or do you change to proper footwear? Having this happen to me, is a wake up call, that possibly no only is my footwear improper, but possibly my focus was incorrect. Things happen for a reason, puzzle pieces fit, or they fit later. I think there is always next year. | |
