Bought my cm26 last July. Launched it in March this year. Its the doghouse model and those have sitting headroom at the dinette with the poptop down. The flush deck models must have poptop up just for sitting headroom at the dinette. Anyway mine has a roller furler jib, a standard jib, double reefable main, 6 hp Johnson outboard, a poptop canvas cover, a full length boad cover, tandem axle trailer, cushions, bimini, two winches on each side of cockpit, boarding ladder and sails very well here in Kansas.

El Dorado lake has a nice sailing club called the walnut valley sailing club. The website has a photo of the facility.

I bought the whole thing (boat and accessories) for 1500. Put new tires on trailer, had the rudder glassed and gel-coated and then had the motor tuned up and new impeller installed. No leaks except for a bit up the cable tower when sailing. I added a pool noodle to the keel trunk to minimize keel slap and so far all is well. Already sailed in up to 35 mph winds and no issues.

Sounds like you got a good deal on your 26.

Like the fun noodle idea. Going to try it on our Seacraft. Drives me nuts when that much iron slams the trunk.

I will be taking some photos soon and up grade my username here too. Been very busy of late. Will be on board here a bit more later this week.

I replaced a fuel hose due to a leaking connection at the tank side. If I put the tank down in the fuel locker, the line would draw air and loose prime. If I set the tank on top of the fuel locker, it would siphon to the engine but drip gas at that same connection at the tank. Weird, but a new hose (different brand) solved it and it only takes about three squeezes to get full prime. Its amazing how a small leak can play tricks like that.
