We have been back in Wisconsin for two weeks now.

Our mission: Get our CM ready to haul to Key Largo.


She had been sitting in the same spot for 5 years, way too long. Started to jack her myself just to get the energy flowing.


Then we called in the pros. They came Monday and in two hours had her loaded.






We have been staying on board the whole time. Definitely different to have her move around under us as the trailer flexes. Can't wait till its water motion.

I have a few more things to load and we will be ready to depart for KL in the morning. Will post our progress, wish us luck.

I'm kinda jealous. What's water you can see the bottom through like??

The one on the left, is the same boat that is in this thread. The one on the right, is an Aft Cabin.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll stick with my 26 a bit longer. I like the swing keel and shallow draft, since I can't see the bottom of the sound very often. Although it would be nice to have a little more room........nah. Seriously just got done refitting the CM26 and have to hang of to it for a while before I take on another one. Next boat will have more headroom and space though.

I can't sell the aft cockpit, because I am still stealing parts off of it. By the time I am done, I wonder if there will be a sailboat to sell? Not sure just how far I am going to rob it yet.



The keel is heavier. If that is interchangable, I may switch that.

Man Ill be joining you soon. The wife and I have been out looking for a boat around 35' to 40' we are going to try to sail around the world. Or at the least sail around an island some where.

Defiantly keep us updated. Especially the part where you have to unload this ol gal. I bet the boat ramp will be a tricky move.
