My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary sailing in Puget Sound, Seattle and whale watching in Van Couver. If I figure out how to post the video, I will do so here. If not, below is a link to a short clip of: Me at the helm and at the video camera of a J105, a 35' racing boat. Hard 20mph wid off the starboard beam, Seattle skyline and Space Needle in the background, boat is heeling hard to port, not the mast, note the boat speed on the bast, note my wife casually reach to hold on when we started wetting the stanchions. The captain said wetting the beam was a right of passage, wetting the stanchions (cp?) is pushing it, even for him. My favorites positive sailing adventure to date.
