| I have both CM32's sitting side by side at my shop. Interesting comparing the lines from one sailboat to the other. Notice how the aft cabin, has about 3" cut off the hull at the bow, and about 6" midship? It makes up for the shorter hull by having a taller cap. Also notice how the cabin on the aft cabin, tapers down in front. I imagine to make it cut through the winds better, but the aft cockpit version has more usable cabin space inside.

| That is interesting Gary. I would have thought they would use the same basic hulls, then adding individual interiors and of coarse tops.
Very cool to be able to line them up and compare. I doubt anyone else has had the opportunity outside the factory. | |

| Notice the significant difference in the upper deck height? The design below, is the last designed William Crealock Clipper Marine made. She is an aft cockpit CM 32, also pictured in the main forum page photo. Having second thoughts about scrapping her. She floats. | |

| If you have no first hand experience in sailing, maybe a survey of the boat you are looking at. Welcome to the forum! | |

| Good advise for sure. Just not spending alot on her, not sure a survey is worth the cost. I can check for soft spots and make sure she runs. I just didn't know if there were an inherent issues with these boats in general, things i should look for? I appreciate the response. I have a deposit on her so if everthing looks good i will be owning her the first of march. I'll post pictures.
