I used to be pretty heavy in the Clipper Owner's Yahoo Group and Trailer Sailor Group. Lots of great people on there back in the day. Kinda died down when I got a job in Florida and had to leave my boats behind back in Texas at a friend's house. However, 3 weeks ago I flew back picked up my boats and hauled them back to Florida. Let the restoration continue! Nice to see many on here!
Just uploaded Part 1 of my rejuvenation effort on YouTube! Part 2 is in the can. Hope to hear from all y'all!

Thanks for the video!! You have a lot of work ahead of you but it will be well worth it when completed. I would not be looking forward to wrestling the keel back into place. Just the little bit of keel work I did was tough and I didn't have to totally remove it!! terry s.

Did you pull all the foam and wood work out? If so how did you get the foam loose from the plywood and then from the bottom of the boat? I am redoing a flush deck 21 that has a serious dry rot problem. The area under the cockpit is a pain cause I have to lay on my belly to work there. Good luck with yours. Russ

Russ,
Yes. Everything was pulled. Interior is totally bare, only items remaining is where the glass attached the wood to the interior hull (minor lip) All that will be ground out as well.
I do know of the problem of laying under the cockpit to do the work. One of the main reasons I plan to pull the topside from the hull. Easier access and will be well worth it in the long run to sand, fair and paint to smooth finish.

The previous owner must have owned West Marine stock to pour so much resin in there!! terry s

Lol! If it was epoxy, it might have worked! This is cheap poly resin (yellow, green and then white layers of it). Surface was never prepped so it didn't stick very well and leaked like a sieve!
