Sailed Tonight Empty
PostSubject: Sailed Tonight   Sailed Tonight EmptySun Jun 24, 2012 1:29 am

Took Sugar Bee out to watch the sunset on the lake.

This is the first time I have sailed her under three sails.

That is a little more to contend with than one or two sails that I am used to, but all in all, went well. Largest heel I noticed was 20 degrees, but I felt a 25 in my gut a couple times when I was too busy sailing to read the gage. My wife puts out uncomfortable sounds at anything above 20 lol

Did not think to rev up the GPS programs on the iPhone till we were almost done. Got a top reading of 5 knots, but eariler in the evening I think I hit 6 or maybe a little more. Winds were a pretty constant 15mph or so. No white caps, but pretty close.
