| Pics are pretty low resolution, but after a season of sailing, I finally have some pics under sail. Winds were at a steady 5mph today, so not much excitement, but any day on the lake is better than a day at the office. Next season I hope to be sailing with the sails from the aft cockpit 32, which are in much better shape. These are pretty dingy. | |

| If I were not 6'7", I would have been AOK with my MacGregor 25. That was a near perfect condition sailboat, perfect for a small lake. I looked like a monkey dating a football on that sailboat! lol My size got me to looking around.
There is a Mac design, only made in Australia, that I seriously thought about purchasing. Like a Mac 26 X only 28' and much larger inside. The catch, they run about $90,000 and half a world away.
Then I stumbled upon a CM30 free in another state. I managed to not get it, though not for lack of trying. Then I purchased one from a burnt out truck with loose lug nuts, won't say anymore. lol
About the time I was thinking maybe sailing was too much of a hassle, a couple CM32's landed in my lap. Life is good! | |
