Clipper Marine 32' ketch

Hey guys!
I am new to sailing. Have been interested in living in a sailboat for many years. The "ex" wife had talked me out of it in the 90's. Cut to the chase,I have an opportunity to pick up a 32 Ketch and was curious if anyone has any interior photos they would like to share? I am not looking to go on a world wide tour,yet. Just looking to be somewhat comfortable on her. I have not seen any on  the net.The owner is still frozen in and unable to get to her for photos as of yet. He has sent me many of her exterior and she looks quite good. She is 8 hours from me and I can not find any on the net,other than sketches. Would she be a good first sailboat? I live in myrtle beach and am on the ICW. That would be the extent of my sailing until experience grows. Any help with any information regarding these boats would be greatly appreciated! The 32 is a great boat, if you get in at a good price, and systems are in good order.

Also, if you find one with a inboard, outboard engine, rather than a diesel, my personal feeling, that is well worth a few extra dollars, because those are so easy to just start fresh, with a fresh engine.  To work on a tired old diesel, is not much fun, when you should be sailing.

What is your interpretation of an inboard/outboard on a sailboat?

I am pretty sure that all sailboats come with either an inboard motor with a prop shaft thru the hull or an outboard hanging on the back.

The 32's had a very few sold without diesel engines, and a well to the aft with an inboard engine in it.

In the aft cabin models, the engine well, was inside the aft cabin.

Is it that they were rare, or are rare now? ??  The 30's were often equipped that way, and it was rare to find a diesel on one of those. 

Thank you for your help.It does have an inboard. The exterior is in quite good shape from the photos I have seen so far. I am waiting for some current interior shots at the time.It is 9 hours away and well worth the drive I am sure.But photos have saved me some drive time to date. Gary , I see that you have 2 of them! Must be a decent boat.I am not looking for anything to cross the Atlantic on.Just something that would make a quiet coastal cruiser,live aboard. Perhaps a trip up and down the coast from time to time. I am looking forward to seeing your interior photos Gary!

Before we could get around to finishing it off, we decided to turn the aft cabin into a massive closet.  Hey, finished enough!

That is awesome! What a great idea to use the rear for. I was thinking of a work area/tool storage. How much room in the forward cabin does the center console design take up? I have found as many drawings as I can and it does not look too cramped in there. I am not 6'.

You DO NOT? have the diesel engine?

If so, you should have storage space under the cockpit. 

You may even have pass through room inside the sailboat from the main compartment to the aft cabin.
