| i am a member of that forum. Funny thing about that place. Every post is moderated. Moderated to the degree, it is not posted for public view until it is read and approved.
What line of WWII Germany is that?
My last few posts never showed up. As I recall, the subject at hand was Clipper Marine and the opening of this new web site.
This is my promise to everyone here: I promise not to block posts, delete posts, alter posts or turn this place into a military base with coiled razor wire atop of tall chain link fences. I also promise to allow anything to be said with in reason. No shouting fire in movie houses, but pretty much, we as adults, can moderate ourselves.
To think the solution to spam is moderate every post, is an error, and in the yahoo case, it is being preferred to hiding resources from the group because of the over protecting clutches of some one person.
I fail to see how hiding Clipper Marine . Org information from other CM owners is serving the public need.
I invite the moderator of the yahoo site to respond here, and his post will not be hidden from the members here.

But in the right setting it can be nice..... [img] [/img] Couldn't resist sharing that shot from work last fall over Lake Michigan. Never been a fan of Yahoo, looked into a couple of sites years ago there, suspected spyware or something, can't remember exactly, but just never cared for it. Sounds like they are afraid this site may take some hits from them. And the hits add up to advertising leverage I believe.

| My wife works inside a prison. I have lectured inmates inside max security prisons. Forums should have a different feel to them. Lol | |

| I have done some work in Waupon Correctional Institution (Max security), not work detail mind you. When the Super Max Prison was nearing completion by my home in Boscobel Wi I applied for, but wasn't awarded the warehouse supervisor position. Th picture above however is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx of my new profession in Nuclear.

Well my job is not quite that important, or well paid. My wife and I are Union laborers and work the outages for Extended Power Uprates. Basically pulling out the old stuff and installing larger capacity equipment thereby increasing generation capabilities. I will say for all my years of busting my ass this is the easiest and best paying gig I have had. And the cool thing is most plants are next to large bodies of water which will allow us to liveaboard once the Clipper is ready. I call us Nuclear Nomads.

| Good for you! In life, sometimes you need delt a good hand to make up for all the bad hands.
The plan you have set up with the sailboat and available water sounds like a perfect life. Do a good job on the clock so the water does not glow in the dark at night and all should go well. Lol

| We set the date to sail away and live on a boat 8.5 years ago. We didn't know how it would all go down. Only that we would make it happen. Had no idea how we would afford it. We just pushed ahead. The date is 9-13-12 and we are on schedule. And yes, the only thing I want glowing is phosphoresence. | |
