Sail Saturday at 9am

Put topping lift on mizen this evening, and adjusted some things. Winds are to be about 15mph tomorrow. Going with all three sails, why not do it all the first day. Sailing a couple hours, then to work by noon ish.

So this will be the Maiden sail of Sugar Bee?

Winds over 20 MPH kept me off the lake today. Not sailing, motoring past the other boats to get out of the marina. Not worth the risk of hurting other peoples property while I learn a new boat. So I did the prudent thing, and just worked on the boat.



Traded tables, traded cabinet drawers, stuff like that.



Tomorrow the forecast is again strong winds.

Came out Sunday evening

Forecast was storms and high winds. Figured I would come out alone and tinker. As I left the city, the frontoved in, winds died down to 10mph and there was two hours of the nicest evening you ever saw. Temp dropped from 99 to 79 and the humidity fell to 50%.

I came to the lake alone, and my boat is not set up for single handed sailing. So I just sat on the boat and contimplated life.

It then rained hard for ten minutes and it is again picture perfect out.

Hey, it is a long summer yet. Always next weekend or maybe a weeknight.
