The boat he purchased had blue window cone rings that matched his sail cover that matched his wench covers etc.

Mark, old boy, how are those covers held in place. Velcro? Snaps?

It is a great idea. As you mentioned else where it not only keeps the hot sun out like curtains, it keeps the UVs off the windows.
