Today I worked in the cabin making a place for the microwave & fridge/freezer.
First better (camera) pics of Sugar Bee in a while. Camera phones are handy, but loose a lot.
Starboard settee used to be a little smaller than standard because of an option of a charcoal briquette heater. I have removed that, and used the space as shown. Now the slightly smaller seating, is even more reduced to 21 and 1/2" So that will be my wife's seat, or Sugar Bee may like it. No way my ass is fitting in a 21" seat!
The folding table looks better than the old one, as half of it was missing, and the bottom showed when against the wall. The larger table will also be nice sometimes.
The stairs are too seep for Sugar Bee to climb, so I am adding a second set of hardware so the grade can be lessened so Sugar Bee can use the steps. At those times we want him to stay below, we can use the upper setting (original) and keep him downstairs. Parts from the other boat are coming in handy!
Liking the looks of a Ketch rig!
The sail covers stand out nicely. I am switching to a larger steering wheel, and once that is done, I will get a wheel / pedestal cover for that also.
The AC unit does not look like a standard option in that big angled hatch. Looks wise, it sucks!
Ordering a new hatch that is the exact size of the only part of the AC unit that comes inside the cabin. Will mount it about where the AC is in this photograph. Few inches closer to the bow.
AC is a must in Nebraska!
