| Well it was driving us crazy to be spending the winter in Key Largo and not have a means of our own to be out on the water when not at work (Sundays). We wanted to bring Gone down w/ us but logistically that fell apart.
So we are buying an Oday 19.
She is out in the parking lot by our apartment. No money down till we see her float but she appears sound. We invested 8 hours last Sunday cleaning, re-bedding gudgeons and thru-hull, and retro-fitting a rudder from a younger sister ship. Brought her home Tuesday night and hope to float her this Sunday. She needs new running rigging, compass is crap, and we have yet to inspect the sails but as long as she doesn't take on water it's a done deal. There is a new compass for $45 at the local marine consignment and they have a mountain of sails as well. West Marine is w/in 2 miles for rigging and new consumable safety items, etc. Trailer is in great shape, new tires, easy lube hubs, built in mast crutch. No motor.
Tried to post pics from my wife's laptop but no joy. May have to Photobucket them and try again.

| You were accidentally suspended. Phil accidentally did so when deleting HGs posts. He just wanted to get rid of your reply but ended up knocking you off. He apologized for the "collareral damage." You are OK. If you cannot log back in, contact Phil at info@trailersailor.com. Welcome back to one of the good guys! Phil refers to HG as a "major-league creep." He added that if we see anyone else we suspect of being HG, to alert him right away. Glad to have you on both sites. Now, get back to entertaining us and educating us on both sites, please! Mark | |

| He deleted some of my posts as well. Sometimes pruning gets out of hand. Here, nothing will get removed. It will get placed in a wastebasket, where anyone can look, if they wish. So far the basket is empty, and does not show up. The problem with the BBS site, is it is so limiting. No functionality. It is 10 year old technology, unable to be updated. It needs to be tossed and changed to a newer technology. Then it is easier to service posts, and protect good members. | |

| Yes, I was able to log in again, thanks for the heads up guys. I fully expected to be banned but had enough BS at that point. Only news on the Oday is that we have secured land storage for her. Still haven't floated so not 100% sure that we are even keeping her. Supposed to get next Sat off so we will try then. Seems like every time we get a sailboat we end up working so much we don't have sailing time. Now we have two boats in two states just sitting. Some days I think a good canoe and no real job may be the way to go. | |

| Tried to upload a couple of pictures of the Oday 19 from my Xoom. Followed the video to the "T" but it says my file type is not allowed.
Will try putting them in Photobucket first and see if that works. | |

| Well I got my butt kicked trying to enter the URL into the host it pop up. Then I accidentally copied the URL directly into the post. So i hit preview and pow, there's the pic. Cool!! So here she is: She still needs some TLC but that will wait till we make sure she floats and confirm the purchase. April says her name will be changed but not sure yet to what. | |
