Keel wench support board / keel wench

Worked on keel wench support board / wench today. Jacked up keel and supported it with a 4x4. Removed non-working keel wench. Cable had several meat hooks on it & will be replaced. Used a grinder with a cutting disc to cut wench support board fiberglass and remove rotten board. Grinder worked well.

Felt good to be working on the boat! Getting the feel for how it will be when I am able to be on her, sailing. Can't wait. Would post pics but don't know how to use outside photo sites.

Keel work will be next.
