Note no sail drive well? Must have come from the factory with a diesel inboard that has been replaced by an outboard. In the video, look how much of a reach it is to use this hull design with an auxiliary outboard. I know, pain in the ass. My CM32 aft cockpit has that same retrofit.

Interesting, anyone else have a loose footed main? My 26 doesn't.

I wonder why theirs is loose? That would let the wind escape, lowering pressure on the sail.

I have seen main sails with no boom at all, but that is odd as well. Safer, but not very efficient capturing the wind.

I think when you are racing you can get a better sail shape for performance with a loose footed main. It allows you to really put good use to the out haul. I can loosen my out haul to an extent but eventually I am just bunching up the main if I go too far.
