Looking through our CM32 pics snow/ice are a recurring theme. It's not right but that's the only time I ever had to work on her. No fiberglass work, painting, re-bedding, much of anything got done. But I did what I could. Here are a few things I did get done.
Tiller refinish. Countless coats of Cetol. There is a slight bit of dry rot on the surface between two of the holes. Mostly just discoloration. The old angles were alum and had white rust holding moisture. Also numerous rusting flat washers making up for too long bolts. I kid you not all three bolts were a different type as well!! New angles are 3"(?) longer and will have one more bolt forward of the rest.SS angle and SS hardware going on.
New companion way boards. Had two so I made two. Now I wish I had three. Countless coats of Cetol on marine plywood.
Put new boards in and pulled the rails and sliding hatch off. Old solar fan was shot so I installed a new and larger one.
Temporary hatch. 1/2" Blandex under the floor mats and plastic. Kept the weather out but I could slide the plywood forward enough to go below. Also cleaned all the old varnish off the hatch rails. Have not gotten them sealed yet.
