Getting Ready For Winter

Over the past week, we tucked the Sugar Bee into get ready for winter mind set.  Bailed out a little water that crept into the craft, added some antifreeze just in case we get more heavy rains (we got a 9" heavy rain a couple weeks ago)

She should be ready to sleep through the season.

Maybe I will be able to sail her some next year.  Sucks being so busy, too busy to get out on the lake.





Here is one of the 32's, when we had this one on the lake.  This was Wondering William, or any number of names she had over the years.  This sailboat has been dry for several years now. 

What is winter? Its almost 90 here. But alas back home in Idaho we are also facing the white doom.
Like you I never got the Clipper in the water. The only thing I sailed this year was my dinghy.
It ain't over yet cause I spend a lot of time here in the Las Vegas area this time of year.

Clipper 32 center cockpit on trailer for $900 in SF. Needs a new interior. Sounds like a good project for any west coasters. Just too far away from me here in Indiana.

Sweet deal for someone, for sure!

This is a version that uses an inboard, outboard.   In some ways, I think that is the best CM  boat Crealock made.   As these boats age, being able to drop in a new engine and transmission, is a great advantage.   The trailer is a bit on the light side.  Three axle would be better.
