| Today, we dropped the masts on Sugar Bee. Several hour project. Nothing ever seems to only take a few minutes.
Did it on the water, my preferred method. No tools, or devices. Just walked em down.
Took the time to waterproof label each chainplate and SS rigging so next spring no head scratching wondering what goes where.
Decided to hold off on the mast switching, for now. If it ain't broke, as it were.
I am going to lengthen the bow pulpit to a bow spirit so I can use the roller furling and sail I already have on the other boat.
Going to try sailing at least once a week next year. Maybe sailed ten times this summer. Not enough.
Pull the boat this week, ready to come out.

| Good job on getting the masts down, especially on the water. Not sure we are ready to try that yet.... | |

| I have not done that with a 30' mast, but the 27.5 is pretty easy.
I watch a you tube video, and the guy said it was easier because he was less afraid of falling off a boat on the water, than he was falling off a high trailer. That clicked with me. | |
