| Hope to see some of you guys at the Havasu Pocket Cruisers Convention Feb. 9-18-2013 at Lake Havasu. Took the plunge and signed up and have a month to get all the gear in one place and buy a truck to pull her out to Arizona. Looks like the jenniewren is the only Clipper Marine so far on a fast growing list. Should be a blast with my boat there this year and not just watching. Fair Winds Rich | |

| Sounds like a great time! What are the fees for going to this? Will you be going past Lincoln NE on I-80? Buy you a coffee! | |

| There no fees just a great get together for the trailer sailors to meet. Slip fees are $18.00 a night or if you stay at one of the Inns I think there free. Lake 37 miles long and some places 5 miles wide. Watched them from the docks last year and going this year with the jennie. Headed down south to I-10 to get out of the white stuff and stay warm. Sister lives there so will be there for a few months doing some work for her as my brother-in-law has past on. Fair winds to all.

| When I go to all the trouble to hook on and pull my sailboat out of Nebraska I sure as Hell ain't never coming back here again. T0o h0t, t0o c0ld, t0o windy, n0 wind, n0 rain, rains all the time. It is never perfect weather wise two days in a month.
If I went to that convention, I would find work doing anything and never come back. Darn tooting!
L@@ked over the list of guests registered, saw no larger trailerable sailboats. No ketch boats that I saw. Sugar Bee would stick out in the crowd!

| That the idea as to say, look at me I made it here on a trailer. But the big thing is the get together. I stood on the outside looking in last year with no boat and it looked like a blast. This year I hope to dock with them if I can dig out the jennie in the boat yard. Fair winds Rich | |

| Rich,
I hope to be going down that way too. I have friends in Kingman. Alas I won't have the boat with me though. She is being refitted and its a bit cold here in Idaho to work on her.
If I do get down there I will look for the the CM23.
Drive safe. You have a long wintery road ahead.

| Hello Russ,
If you do make it I can find a place for you to bunk on my boat. My sister lives in Havasu and there is always a spot for a Clipper sailor anytime. Keep in touch if your in the area as your only about 1 hour away. Found out there is a CM26 that will be there also. Till then Fair Winds

| Hey Everyone
I was wrong on the fees for the havasu meet. Cost $50.00 to join with boat and a crew of 4. If you don't have a boat it's $25.00 for two that includes a lot of fun and games. Take a look. Fair Winds Rich

| Hello all, I just returned from the trip to Havasu, Az. The weather was much warmer than Idaho, but still cool and breezy. I must say that if you are on the outside looking in its a bummer. There were three Clippers registered, and I never saw any of them. I went there three different days and it was a wash. There were only 4 boats tied up at the dock. Where everyone else was is anyones guess. On Monday the 11th they had the small craft warning up, and I never saw a sail on the lake. On the way home there was an accident just north of Las Vegas on I-15 and one of the vehicles was a Macgregor sailboat. It came off the trailer or was hit, but the trailer was toast. It had Nv. registration, but that doesn't mean much. I hope those that went had a good time. Maybe next year I will have mine down there. Russ | |

| Great you got to go but too bad there were no Clipper sightings.
I thought it was more of an organized event where everyone met up in a set location. Sounds like the lake is the only common ground? | |

| Russ, consider making a trip up to Sandpoint Id. This summer and sail the most beautiful lake you have ever been on! over 150 miles of shoreline! Bring your boat or come sail with us!
