Havasu Pocket Crusers

The sky's were clear, the weather was warm, and the boats did sail.  We needed more Clippers represented.

So you were there w/ a Clipper? Would love to hear about it.

Over 200 boats this time on the water.

What a blast at Havasu Pocket Crusers meet. Three clippers were there as I had my CM23 TW from Indiana, Pennys CM 30 from NV. ? and a CM 26 from Southern CA. There was something going on all the time. The lake is 37 miles long and to see all that needs to be seen you would need a few weeks by sail. All the canyons are a sight to be seen by all even the fame copper canyon.

Hello Penny I see you must have made it home all right. To bad you had to miss a lot of the sail time as it has been great up to now as a storm is rolling in. 2/19/2013. Fair winds and see you next year.

It is like you said about last year. Its a bummer being on the outside looking in. I do have a bit of a complaint though. Their adds state the meet runs from the 9th to the 18th. I was there on the 9th, and found out that nothing really started till the 11th. I had to leave there on the 12th. If I would have known the first two or three days were non sanctioned I would have gone down later. Oh well maybe next year mine will be ready. I am thinking of moving down there. I hate winter weather. I wish I would have had your number I would have called you. I did not have internet for a good part of the time I was down there.
Glad you are home safe, and had a good time. Perhaps we will meet next year.
The 26 footer lives close to where I lived in Ca. They were from Pinion Hills and I lived in the Victorville area.
