| Ok,.. I bought a CM 21 last spring, and did not get her in the water last summer, but while looking her over closely I noticed that under the waterline on the bow area for the first couple of feet there is a concrete like substance on the bottom. It didn't wash off, but I can take my pocket knife and scrape it off and the jelcoat seems in perfect condition underneath it. Does anyone know what this could be and how to best remove it? | |

| Was it in salt water? Sounds like marine growth.
Get a scraper and scrape it off. You can apply anti-fouling paint to prevent that. Just make sure you get the right kind of paint. They make different types for trailerable boats. | |

| This boat hasn't been in salt water,. but it does seem to scrape off.. just was hoping someone knew if there was something I could or should saturate it with to make it come off easier.
